How To Register for Classes and Workshops
All students are STRONGLY encouraged to complete class and workshop registration online. This ensures your registration is received in a timely fashion, is accurate, and is efficiently processed by Foosaner staff. For best results, use Google Chrome
Visit our website at www.foosanerartmuseum.org. Then continue to Renee Foosaner Education Center and access our online registration system by choosing a class. You may register online by credit card.
You may register in person via check, cash or credit card during our business hours. Please DO NOT mail checks to the Education Center.
Call the Education Center’s front desk at (321) 674-8923 and register over the phone, Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.. All phone registrations must be paid in full with a credit card.
Please register early! Don’t delay! Pre-registration is required for Renee Foosaner Education Center classes; classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are registered when payment is received. Most classes are limited to 12 students—some have a smaller limit due to space or equipment limitations—so register early to be assured of a space. If you put off registering for a class or workshop, it may be cancelled due to low enrollment—so please, register early!

Inclement Weather Closings
In the case of an emergency weather closing, every effort will be made to contact students. We follow Brevard County’s Public School System for inclement weather school closings that are broadcast by local radio and television stations. Classes cancelled for emergencies will be rescheduled whenever possible.
Class Confirmations and Cancellations
We must have a minimum enrollment in order to conduct a class or workshop. This minimum is usually five students. Please call us at (321) 674-8923 the day before your class to verify the class has not been cancelled. If it is necessary for Renee Foosaner Education Center to cancel a class or workshop, students will be notified no later than 24 hours before the first class. If we do not have a minimum registration and cancel the class, you will receive a full refund. Students will also have the option to transfer to another class free of charge.
A $25 processing fee will be applied to any requested transfer. Transfer requests must be made in person at the Renee Foosaner Education Center.
Student Refunds/Cancelling a Class
If you wish to withdraw from a class, a request must be made 72 hours in advance of the first day of class for a full refund.
If a withdraw is requested after the start date of the class, 50% of the tuition will be refunded.
Requests should be emailed to Education Assistant Tia Harris at email@example.com or brought to the Renee Foosaner Education Center during office hours.
There are no make-up classes due to a student’s illness, unanticipated travel or other reasons not the responsibility of the Renee Foosaner Education Center. No fees will be returned or credits issued for failure to attend.
The Renee Foosaner Education Center closes for a short period of time at the end of each semester to clean the studios. Prior to these cleaning periods, all materials, such as unfinished or drying paintings, unfinished or drying ceramics, sculptures, drawing pads, etc., must be removed from all racks and storage areas at the close of each session or as directed by staff and instructors.
The Renee Foosaner Education Center is not responsible for any materials or projects that have been left in any of the studios during these clean out periods. Students are responsible for retrieving their projects in a reasonable and timely manner.
Any unclaimed workshop or class project will be discarded.
Adult classes are for participants 18 years old and older only. Children should not be brought into classrooms and other instructional and student support areas in lieu of having a regular childcare provider.
The Renee Foosaner Education Center is not responsible for any artwork or personal items lost, stolen or left in the classrooms, on shelves or in the Studio Store. The Renee Foosaner Education Center reserves the right to withdraw or change classes, instructors or schedules; to revise tuition and fee structures; and to amend its policies and practices as necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the school.
By registering, you are acknowledging the following release:
I hereby hold Foosaner Art Museum/Renee Foosaner Education Center and Florida Institute of Technology harmless for injury, accident or loss of property that may occur during any Renee Foosaner Education Center activity wherever conducted, except damages resulting directly from negligence on the part of Renee Foosaner Education Center or its agents. In the event of accident or illness involving my child, or myself, I hereby authorize the Renee Foosaner Education Center to arrange for the transportation of my child or myself, whether by ambulance or otherwise, to a proper facility where emergency medical treatment would normally be administered, including, but not limited to, an emergency room of a hospital, a doctor’s office or medical clinic; and to sign releases as may be required in order to obtain any medical or surgical treatment as is immediately required in the judgment of medical authorities at the facility.
