Foosaner Art Museum Exhibition Submission Policy
The Foosaner Art Museum preserves and displays an international collection of artwork through rotating public exhibitions and educational programs. The Museum’s permanent collection spans 20 centuries and includes nearly 5,000 objects in these categories: works on paper, paintings, sculpture, decorative arts and industrial design.
Submissions for exhibition consideration should include the following:
- Cover letter
- 5-10 sample images
- Attached images must be jpgs and marked with the title, measurements, medium, date of completion, and provenance, if applicable.
You may also use general mail delivery. If so, please include a disk with jpg images and at least three quality print images. Please include a cover letter, image titles, dimensions, dates, and provenance in your mailed submission with your disk. You are welcome to also to include reviews, announcements, or other press materials related to the submissions.

Please note: the Foosaner Art Museum is first and foremost a museum and not a rotating, often changing artist gallery. Exhibitions are planned out in advance of up to several years and include not only contemporary artists but historical and cultural shows as well. Consideration of a submission depends on adherence to the mission of the Foosaner Art Museum and coherence with the ongoing exhibition schedule.
As such, we cannot guarantee immediate follow-up for each submission. All portfolios will be kept on file, however, for future consideration.
